What does projection mapping cost?
Projection mapping on a town hall, a church, a palace or a festival site costs between 4,500 and 144,000 euros net at RE:SORB, depending on the project class. These are our 2026 guide prices. Below: the three classes, what moves the price, and what the content alone costs.

Content only
If you provide the projection technology, custom content starts at 3,500 EUR net — typically 3,500–38,000 EUR, depending on length, resolution and the number of surfaces.
What moves the price
- Surface size and viewing distance, which set the brightness (lumens) and the number of projectors.
- Minutes of newly produced 3D content, the resolution, and a 3D scan of the building.
- Number of surfaces, buildings or sites.
- Show nights or run length: weather housings, on-site supervision, security, insurance.
- Fog and water systems: fog machines, pumps, water shield.
- Towers, scaffolding, power and generators.
- Travel, freight, crew accommodation, and surcharges for flexible dates.
Frequently asked
Why do quotes for the same façade differ so much?
Because the price follows the show, not the building's name. Surface size and viewing distance decide how many projectors of which brightness are needed; the minutes of new 3D content, the number of surfaces, the show nights, fog or water systems, towers and power, and travel each add to it.
What does the content alone cost?
When you provide the projection technology, custom content starts at 3,500 EUR net and typically costs 3,500–38,000 EUR, depending on length, resolution and the number of surfaces.
Are permanent installations possible?
Yes. They are priced individually, on request.
Is VAT included?
No. All guide prices are net, plus VAT, and plus travel and freight where they apply.
