At Boom Festival 2023 in Portugal, RE:SORB presented ÆTHER: figures of light that appear to hover in mid-air, projected into fog and close enough for visitors to walk up to.

The image is carried by fog rather than by a screen or a solid surface: light is projected into the fog, so the forms have no visible support and appear to stand in the air. No glasses, no headsets and no LED are involved.
