Lumisphere — Marx-Engels-Forum

With ‘Lumisphere’, RE:SORB brought the Marx-Engels-Forum back into the Festival of Lights Berlin for the first time in many years — a walk-in installation of light in fog, documented in vertical video.

For the Festival of Lights Berlin 2023 — 85 installations across 42 locations under the motto ‘Colours of Life’ — RE:SORB brought the Marx-Engels-Forum back into the festival for the first time in many years.

‘Lumisphere’ interprets the historic square in the heart of Berlin as a sphere of light: volumes and beams drawn through fog create a space visitors can enter and move through. The installation became a visitor highlight and returned in 2024 as ‘ÆTHER’.
