Siegessäule — Festival of Lights 2025

For the Festival of Lights Berlin 2025, RE:SORB created a five-minute, 360-degree art loop for the 67-metre Victory Column.

The Siegessäule is one of the most demanding surfaces in Berlin: a 67-metre column, mapped all the way around and watched from every direction. For the Festival of Lights 2025, RE:SORB returned to the Victory Column.

The studio’s own five-minute art loop played on the column — the tall format that RE:SORB first mapped here in 2015, and a natural piece for vertical video.

A 360° mapping has to close all the way around the shaft, which means projecting onto the column from more than one side.
