San Francisco Church — Festival de la Luz de Antigua
For the Festival de la Luz de Antigua 2026, RE:SORB created a video mapping for the baroque façade of the San Francisco church in La Antigua Guatemala under the festival theme ‘Pieces of the World’.
La Antigua Guatemala, the colonial city at the foot of three volcanoes, holds its Festival de la Luz in July. For the 2026 edition, RE:SORB created an original video mapping for the baroque façade of the Iglesia de San Francisco, under the festival theme ‘Pieces of the World’.
The façade’s columns, niches and saints become the building blocks of a show that assembles and takes the church apart in stone, ice, gold and light — RE:SORB’s first work in Central America since Tribal Gathering in Panama.
