Templo Mayor — Mexico City
Together with partners Maizz, RE:SORB illuminated the 16-metre 1:3 scale model of the Templo Mayor on Mexico City’s central plaza, depicting the struggle of the Aztec people against the Spanish invasion 500 years ago.

Together with our partners from Maizz, RE:SORB illuminated the 16-metre, 1:3 scale model of the Templo Mayor on the Zócalo, Mexico City’s central plaza. The mapping depicts the struggle of the Aztec people against the Spanish invasion — a fight, begun 500 years ago, against the destruction not only of a political system but of the culture of the Mexican people.
The project continues RE:SORB’s work in Mexico, which includes mappings on the Torre Latinoamericana in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
