TV Tower Berlin — Festival of Lights 2022

RE:SORB’s artwork for the Berlin TV Tower, the tallest building in Germany, at the Festival of Lights 2022 — a vertical mapping on a 368-metre landmark.

The Berlin TV Tower at night with its shaft and sphere illuminated in blue by a projection mapping, filmed in vertical format Loads the player from Vimeo (do-not-track mode).

Our artwork for the highest building in Germany: the iconic Berliner Fernsehturm. For the Festival of Lights 2022, RE:SORB mapped the tower’s shaft and sphere with a piece produced together with the festival.

A tower is a vertical canvas by nature — which is why this project lives in 9:16, the same frame as on a phone.

The piece runs to ninety-two seconds. Music and sound design were made for it, and the audio mastered, as part of the same production.

The Fernsehturm is one of several Berlin landmarks the studio has mapped, alongside Charlottenburg Palace and the Brandenburg Gate.
